It was a warm night in Paris. We had just finished dinner at a bistro across the street from the Gardens. As we passed the Palace, I looked back to my left...and up. The full moon was playing hide and seek with us...with everyone in Paris that night. It would shine bright and clear and romantic then grow dim and shadowy and sinister behind the drifting clouds. When I saw the photograph, I noticed a "face" image buried in the contrast of clouds, moon, light and dark. I posted the photo on Facebook. Others, seeing the image, commented on the "face." Thousands of miles away, from upstate New York, a friend posted a similar shot of the moon. This time there were no "face" visible.
The dark sky show was presented to those who walked the streets of Paris that night. But, perhaps, in another city or village or a remote field or even from a mountain top, something else was seen by someone else...against the full moon that night.
We just happened to see something eerie in Paris
